• Date of birth (optional, improves sanctions-screening accuracy)
• US tax form data (W-9 for US persons, W-8BEN or W-8BEN-E for non-US persons or entities), collected only from contributors who earn $500 or more in a calendar year. Stored encrypted at rest using AWS KMS and only accessed for required IRS filings. Retained for seven (7) years per IRS requirements.

We use the information we collect or receive for the following purposes:

• To provide and operate our services
• To manage user accounts and provide customer support
• To respond to legal requests and prevent harm
• We screen contributor identities against government sanctions lists (OFAC SDN list) before releasing payments, as required by US law
• When you accept our Contractor Terms of Service, we record the timestamp, IP address, and user-agent of your acceptance in an immutable audit log retained for at least seven (7) years. This audit log is required for legal and regulatory defense of the contractor relationship.

We do not share your personal information with third parties unless it is required by law or strictly necessary to operate our services, such as:

• To protect the rights and safety of our users and third parties
• To operate our services effectively
